I began my cosmetology career in 2006 and quickly fell in love with cutting hair. I knew then that I wanted to open a salon and have a place where people could relax and take a break from the day. Charlotte was missing this niche for men. In June 2011, I opened the original Shear Excellence location in Dilworth.

As Shear Excellence expanded, I made sure we maintained our core values as a business: Satisfaction is crucial. Every man should leave the salon with a precision haircut, tremendous experience, and be more relaxed than when he walked in the door!
